Located on the corner of Queen and Flinders Streets, this proposed 25 storey residential tower draws inspiration from its landmark, yet complex location. With the heritage Fletcher Jones building at its base, and its prominent place in Melbourne’s southern skyline, it was critical for the design of this tower to respond at a multitude of levels. Firstly at a pedestrian level, a series of highly articulated forms clad in copper and bronze provide a transition from the newly restored heritage building and the tower over. The body of the building, sheer and fully glazed, confidently holds its corner location.
