Who we are

K2LD is a fast-growing Design Practice that works across Architecture and Design. Our Studio, based in the CBD, is made up of collaborative and passionate architectural and interior design teams who are dedicated and responsible for the delivery of all projects from beginning to end. Our office is a space where talented individuals are empowered to do their best work, a space where every decision is a design decision.

Our portfolio of work includes educational and institutional projects, houses and community precincts through to multi-residential developments and large-scale commercial projects.

GRADUATE ARCHITECT

As a Graduate Architect, you will report to the Project Architect and will gain exposure to all stages of the project cycle. As a key member of the team, you will assist in the delivery of documentation packages. You will gain invaluable project experience; have access to mentoring and coaching and professional development opportunities including the opportunity to travel internationally.

In this role, you will work across:

· Attending site visits and client meetings.

· Delivering documentation.

· Coordinating with consultants.

· Contributing to design development.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

· An Architectural Degree.

· Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

· REVIT documentation experience.

· Ability to detail.

· Working knowledge of design industry workflows, production cycle and priorities.

· Great communication skills.

PROJECT ARCHITECT

Through recent growth, we are seeking a contract Project Architect to join our team in a 12 month fixed-term contract, to work on a large-scale government project in the education sector.

In this role, you will work across:

· Developing conceptual designs and schematic designs.

· Leading projects and managing a small team reporting to the Directors.

· Liaising with Clients and consultants to ensure aspects of the project are coordinated and communicated.

· Ensuring design and technical solutions are met throughout the projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

· An Architectural Degree.

· Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably with some experience working on D & C, and education projects.

· REVIT documentation experience.

· Experience working in a fast paced government project off site.

· Developing conceptual designs.

· Strong ability to coordinate consultants and project teams in house.

· Strong ability to detail.

REVIT DOCUMENTOR

Through recent growth, we are seeking two contract REVIT Documentors to work on a 6 month fixed-term contract, to work on the production of construction documents for a large-scale government project in the education sector.

In this role, you will work across:

· Assisting in the establishment of drawing register.

· Coordinating with a Consultant team.

· Producing and overseeing full documentation sets, from design detailing through to construction.

· Providing project administration support and maintenance.

· Working across project design and project scheduling directly with the Project Architect.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

· An Architectural Degree.

· Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably with some experience working on education projects.

· REVIT documentation experience.

· Experience working in a fast paced government project off site.

· Working knowledge of design industry workflows, production cycle and priorities.

INTERIOR DESIGNER

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to work on a large-scale government project in the education sector.

In this role, you will work across:

· All aspects of the design process including design development, documentation and sourcing of materials.

· Leading and participating in all phases of a project (programming and sequencing).

· Liaising directly with clients, developers, consultants and local authorities, including pitching and client presentations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

· A relevant tertiary qualification.

· A min of 5 years experience, including experience working with residential and educational projects.

· Ability to manage the design and delivery of a small and larger scale projects.

· Strong concept and presentation skills.

· Client liaison experience.

· People Management experience including mentoring and leading small teams.

· A keen eye for design aligned an ability to work to any budget.

· Experience working in a fast paced government project off site.

· Strong experience with being able to coordinate consultants and project teams in house.

· Experience using REVIT, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, and MS Office.
